The 15th Annual Saratoga Fashion Show was billed as “World Class Fashion for a World Class Cause” and the afternoon certainly did not disappoint. Hundreds gathered in the At the Rail Pavilion at Saratoga Racecourse last Thursday to catch a glimpse of some high fashion, all while raising money for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region. Guests were escorted in the tent and greeted with complimentary champagne from local retailer Crush and Cask Wine and Spirits and sipped refreshing pink cocktails made with American Harvest Vodka. Crowd favorite Natalie Sillery of Saratoga Trunk was the emcee for the day, looking absolutely gorgeous in red with one of the best hats we have seen all season. She introduced the first fashion show from Donna Hercules called Collection D’Alli, featuring the most precious models, four pint sized princesses gliding down the runway. Ms. Hercules designs beautifully captured the sweet, playful essence of childhood with soft colors, movement and floral embellishments. Between fashion shows, Natalie led the crowd in a live auction for some extraordinary items. First we were introduced to Lisa Miller and The Foal Project, a non-profit traveling gallery show to raise awareness and funding for Equine Assisted Therapies. Ms. Miller brought a poignant photograph of a horse and her brand new foal to auction off at the luncheon and after a bidding war between Patty Riggi and Joelle Rodgers, to the delight of all, both agreed to take home a piece for $5000 each.
