The funds raised by this event help us fulfill our mission to promote the health and development of children and their families.  They also help to ensure we can continue to operate our Ronald McDonald House of Albany.  Over 550 families a year call our House their home-away-from-home while their child receives care at local hospitals.  Families come together and support one and other in times of great tension and frustration.  Their lives are on hold while their child is hospitalized.  Our House becomes theirs, and a few of the many burdens they face are lifted through the generosity of our community.  Though it costs $80 a night to house each family, less than 30% of our guests can afford to pay the modest $10 per night suggested donation. Thanks to you, we will never turn any guest away for an inability to pay.
